Inside Out 2 Review
Disney and Pixar totally destroyed it with this movie. I have never been so excited or aroused to watch a movie. As someone who has struggled immensely with anxiety, I can relate to this film very well.
To begin with, The cast is absolutely incredible, you couldn’t imagine a stronger and perfect lineup. Maya Hawke, who provided the voice of Anxiety, was perfect for the character, it was like vanilla and ice cream together. I loved anxiety and happiness together.
There were differences between them in the beginning but when joy made her sit on her special chair, I had tears in my eyes. Amy Poehler and Maya Hawke are a match made in heaven.
It can’t be described how vivid Riley’s panic attack was and the way Pixar portrayed her was really emotional and very accurate.
I’m honestly speechless here. I also liked Ayo’s playing very much. Envy is not an emotion that came to mind when I initially thought about emotions,
but my angry envy fits this movie perfectly.
I know it’s just an animated movie, but those feelings are like a family, they all appreciate each other’s weaknesses. Joy obviously sees the best in everyone but Sadness trys to do the same in her own way.
I absolutely love the joy that embraces sadness. Disgust, fear, anger and embarrassment are also wonderful. I was so impressed by Lisa’s expression of disgust, she was absolutely incredible.
I never really thought about it, but I guess imagining these characters in your mind would be a way to deal with anxiety. Was blown away by how incredible this movie was!
