Bad Boys: Ride or Die Review
Most of the moments and jokes or highlights were already in the trailer. Some action scenes felt uninspired. It felt like I was watching a toned-down version of the Miami Vice TV show.
Some situations in the film were completely unbelievable and made no sense, such as Martin Lawrence suddenly having two guns, or an escape boat suddenly appearing out of nowhere.
And just like that a decorated military war veteran ends up working for the “cartels” after being tortured? No one really knows what that vague “cartel” is referring to there.
The art dealer character is listed for about 10 seconds. The DJ Khalid portion lasted for about 10 seconds. Someone found him operating two or three drones simultaneously.
The pilot who finally helped him was stunned, but perhaps he was not concerned about his death. Why Will Smith had a panic attack was never explained and had no impact on the story.
The scenes that Martin Lawrencedescribed were never shown and it felt like he was just making up random things as the movie went along. To be honest, we don’t even remember what was happening, but they were a sequel to the previous film which was as easily forgotten as this film.
I would say the movie sucks, there is nothing special in it so don’t recommend anyone to expect much from it. I gave the movie a C-.
